Role Overview:-
- As a Data Engineer II, you will work on large-scale data systems to support Amazon’s Trustworthy Shopping Experience team.
- You will design data pipelines, analyze massive datasets, and help build solutions to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activities on the platform.
Experience Required:-
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Educational Requirements:-
- B.E / B.Tech (CS / IT or related field)
- M.Tech / MS – Preferred
Skills Required:-
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience in data modeling, data warehousing & ETL pipelines
- Proficiency in programming (Python / Java / Scala)
- Understanding of distributed data systems
AWS & Tools
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, IAM)
- EC2, RDS, Apache Airflow
- Experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL, key-value, graph DBs)
Preferred Skills:-
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with coding standards, code reviews & deployment practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and BI solutions
- Build robust data architecture to support analytics and reporting
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations from multiple data sources
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and tech teams
