Skills Required:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance Testing or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibility
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Work with business teams to review the test cases
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Update the Regression suite with Production issues
- Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect severities, open defect counts and defect leakage
