Job Description
- The Content Analyst role is within Deals Content team responsible for collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high-quality information. The role involves providing clients with data related to Mergers and Acquisitions, Public Equity Offerings and Private Equity. The analyst would be responsible for researching and collecting relevant data and ensuring the data is provided in a timely and accurate manner. The individual will be required to support the team in day to day production tasks along with handling content queries and other requirements like projects and cleanses.
Skills Required:
- Basic computer and internet research knowledge are required;
- Willingness to take absolute responsibility for work tasks;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Willingness to work in Shifts (24/5) and during public/national holidays;
- Self-motivated even when attending to routine tasks;
- Ability to follow company policies;
Responsibility
- Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases.
- To research, source and collect information from various sources – such as Companies Filings, Amendments, Press Releases, external news sources or announcements made by the company.
- Ensures data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for their covered product/market.
- Basic knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
- Makes recommendations for process improvements to immediate manager.
- Works independently within defined area, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.
