Job Description

Skills Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with additional programming languages is a plus
- Experience/Familiarity with databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Google Cloud
- Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or other tools to build interactive
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with flexibility to adapt to new technologies
- Familiarity with best practices for collaborative development and code review processes
- Proficient in using Git for version control, including creating and managing repositories, branching, merging, and resolving conflicts
- Demonstrated interest in learning about AI and its applications in software engineering
- Strong interest in Fixed Income markets
Responsibility:
- Partner with credit research analysts, portfolio managers and traders to introduce new technologies to the Municipal Bond investment process
- Serve as a key contributor for scaling our current investment process and creating new investment solutions
- Develop software solutions primarily in Python and SQL
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards to effectively communicate data insights and support decision-making processes
- Provide and maintain clear and accurate documentation on tools
- Provide ongoing support on solutions and tools as the project matter expert
- Identify and implement improvements to municipal data quality to drive operational efficiencies and build scale in the municipal business
