📌Roles & Responsibilities
- The Salesforce Finance organization includes a number of teams working together to maintain the Global accounting process and provide insight into the company’s financial performance with compliance of SOX Act. As a Finance Intern, you will have exciting opportunities to work directly with global teams to impact the present and future of Salesforce, with a particular focus on being familiar with GAAP accounting principles, driving Process Im, business partnering, and data-driven insights for Finance.
- In this role, you will be assisting managers within one of the Salesforce Finance functions: Controllership, Revenue Operations, Finance & Strategy, Treasury, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and the Office of the CFO. Your responsibilities will range from financial statement review and analytics, business compliance audits, and accounting, to operational process improvements and driving team connection within the organization. You will contribute to finance transformation by exploring, experimenting with, and applying technologies to enhance efficiency and decision support. This includes opportunities to:
- Produce technology capabilities, such as building simple automations for processes or tasks
- Design analytical models (e.g., descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, or prescriptive models) to support better decision-making
- Integrate data flows across multiple systems to streamline data retrieval and analysis
- Assist in the creation and refinement of digital decision support tools, Learn to design, build, or maintain dashboards in business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to automate financial reporting and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Contribute to initiatives involving advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI), to solve complex financial problems and enhance decision-making
- Help in communicating data-driven insights through compelling storytelling and visualizations to various stakeholders.

✔What We’re Looking For
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently in Pre final year(2nd year of 3 year Degree) of B.Com Accounting
• Completed and/or currently enrolled in coursework in accounting, corporate finance, economics, management, strategy, business operations, statistics, data analysis, or programming.
• Interest in pursuing a postgraduate career in accounting, business, finance, project management, data science, or technology-driven finance roles.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the willingness to speak in front of senior leaders and large groups.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets modeling and data analytics skills, with a foundational understanding of how to apply data insights.
• Intellectual curiosity, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset, particularly in digital technologies, data, and AI.
• Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• PowerPoint/Google Suite presentation building skills, with an aptitude for data storytelling and visualization to convey financial insights effectively.
