Job Overview:-
- Airbus is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Flight Physics Capabilities Internship Program.
- The role focuses on supporting optimized overall Flight Physics solutions by developing capabilities that enable the Loads domain to design efficient and reliable aircraft structures.
- Interns will gain hands-on experience working on advanced tools and simulations, directly contributing to aircraft design and development.
Qualifications:-
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, or related fields).
- Strong academic background with good problem-solving skills.
- Open-minded, fast learner with the ability to adapt and explore new concepts quickly.
Technical Skills (Must Have):-
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong knowledge of Numpy, Scipy, and Pytest.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB.
Additional Skills (Good to Have):-
- Knowledge of workflow orchestrators; basics of Simulink.
- Exposure to Apache Airflow.
- Familiarity with aircraft loads terminologies (support will be provided if not known).
Responsibilities:-
- Develop and enhance tools for Loads domain applications, including gust load solvers, sorting tools, and model-building tools.
- Support integration of models into load solvers.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve workflows and automation processes.
- Apply coding and simulation skills to optimize solutions for flight physics challenges.
