- We are looking for a passionate and driven Government relations intern to join our team
- in Mumbai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in hands-on public policy
- research, analysis, and advocacy. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with the
- Government relations, legal, compliance teams in India & South Asia to support initiatives
- that align with PayPal’s objectives and vision.
Skills Required:
- Graduates from any discipline (e.g., Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, etc.)
- Graduation year: 2023 – 2025
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrable aptitude in the Financial Services/Digital Payments sector is desirable but not mandatory.
Responsibility:
- Conduct research and analysis on public policy and regulatory issues relevant to PayPal.
- Draft policy briefs, memos, and reports under the guidance of senior team members.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to payments and financial services topics and provide timely updates to the team.
- Assist in preparation of messaging collaterals for internal and external use.
- Participate in policy meetings, workshops, and conferences to gain insights into policy discussions.
