📌Roles & Responsibilities
- Assisting in Publication of Reports, Research Blogs, Policy Briefs, and Presentations: Refining content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to academic standards. Conducting fact-checking and verification of sources to maintain credibility and integrity of publications. Formatting documents according to established style guidelines, including proper citation formatting and consistent use of terminology. Coordinating with design and graphics teams to create visually appealing and informative graphics.
- Supporting Research Initiatives: Conducting comprehensive literature reviews to identify relevant sources and contribute to the development of research projects. Utilizing various analytical tools and techniques to analyse data sets and extract meaningful insights. Creating visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and infographics, to effectively communicate research findings.
- Providing Administrative Support: Responding to needs as they arise, such as organizing meetings, providing support in workshops, maintaining documentation, and managing correspondence.
✔What We’re Looking For
Knowledge / Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public policy, Economics, Development Studies, Sociology, Political Science, or related disciplines from a reputed institution.
- Strong academic record
Specific Skills:
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork.
- Strong understanding of public policy issues, particularly rural development, livelihoods, and governance.
- Basic knowledge of data collection methods, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word); familiarity with survey tools like KoboToolbox or Google Forms is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English and Punjabi (reading, writing, and speaking).
Desirable Experience:
- Prior fieldwork experience, especially in rural or semi-urban settings.
- Experience in working with government departments, NGOs, or academic institutions.
- Experience in conducting interviews, focus group discussions, or surveys.
