Required Qualifications & Skills:-

A bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree is good to have a Master’s.
Proficient in Java, and J2EE with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as n-tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Microservices, Data Access (OR/M, DAOs… etc.),
integration tools, Knowledge of SOAP, REST and XML technologies (XML, XPath, XSL, XML Schema, RNG, DTD, XQuery, DOM, etc.)
Good hands-on experience with MVC, JDBC, RESTful, and SOAP Services.
Experience with popular application frameworks, such as Spring, JSF, Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Prime faces… Etc.. and UI frameworks such as Jquery, Nodejs etc.
Experience in Database (SQL) database design, Query Development, and performance tuning as applicable w.r.t Oracle/DB2 Experience in both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies is an asset.
Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint etc. is an asset. Adherence to best coding practices and principles.
Good Knowledge of performance tuning and providing optimal code.
Should have good exposure to CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins, Docker etc.
Familiarity with Hadoop databases like Hbase, Hive etc.
Nice to Haves:
Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background Multi database, multi-language or multi business application experience preferred Anthem System Knowledge is an asset Experience with Rules Engines such as Drools

Key Roles & Responsibilities:-

Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.
Codes and maintains complex components of information systems.
Develops and performs unit testing fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
Ensure code quality by performing technical design and code reviews Module level ownership and ensure that any development that occurs in that module is as per the agreed solution.
Participates in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
