Qualifications & Skills Required:-

Master/Bachelor/Diploma or advanced degree in quality assurance, software engineering, computer science, or related disciplines
Experience within Agile methods such as test-driven development, SAFe, and SCRUM is beneficial
Any other SW or IT expertise (e.g., security, safety, communication protocols, system engineering, testing, performance engineering, quality assurance, process development) is beneficial
Background in the use of development tools such as Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Jenkins, and experience with quality management tools like SonarQube, Klocwork
Proficiency in English, speaking, and writing.

Job Description & Responsibilities:-

You as R&D Quality Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business-based Bangalore, You will be part of a high-performing product development program developing multiplatform products for digitalization of the grid automation business enabling big data, Industrial Internet of Things, enhancing reliability as well as situational awareness in power systems.

Perform/track the quality engineering activities as per the Quality Assurance Plan
Reporting on and providing visibility on the quality status and the quality metrics to the Project Manager, the Teams, and to the Quality team
Establishes standards, guidelines, and process tailoring to be followed in projects
Monitor adherence to processes and standards
Provides visibility to Quality, Line, and Project management on non-conformances that can impact product or process quality
Participates in pre-Gate QA audits and assists in the follow-up of QA Audit actions
Prepares and owns the Document Control Plan
Process development in the quality management system
Drive, maintain, coordinate, and report on the quality improvement program
