Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: B.E/ B.Tech/M.C.A–Preferably Computers Science / Information Technology/Electronics

Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical information as part of software requirement analysis
• Keen sense of ownership
• Good team player with the ability to stretch (time-wise) when required
• Willing to work in high-pressure environment
• Skills in test execution and debugging (or) trouble-shooting within a multi-tasking environment
• Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
• Exposure to mobility space, testing of apps
• Conversant in defect reporting with clear articulation
• Good knowledge on UNIX/SQL
• Good programming skills, preferably in Java

In addition the following activities are optional: (Good, if they have)

• Be flexible, even in the light of an environment that sometimes uses modified Agile and other times more of a waterfall process.
• Knowledge in Software engineering process/principles, Iterative development process

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Junior Test Engineer should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies, and lab environments.
• The Junior Test Engineer should have a basic understanding of SDLC processes. Additional knowledge of STLC, Defect lifecycle, and methodology are mandatory.

Working under the eMCE QA group, the Junior Test Engineer will be primarily responsible for validating end-to-end needs for a variety of key customer-facing and internal applications [Web, Client/Server, Hybrid & Mobile applications].
