Qualifications
Eligibility Criteria:
- This hackathon is open to final-year female students from the graduating batch of 2026, enrolled full-time in B.E./B.Tech programs across engineering colleges in India.
- Eligible branches include:
- Computer Science Engineering
- Information Technology
- All other circuit streams (e.g., ECE, EEE, E&I, etc.)
- One person cannot be a member of more than one team.
- Cross-specialization and cross-campus teams are allowed.
- All participants must have no active backlogs at the time of registration.
- Students from the batch of 2025 or earlier are not eligible to participate.
- The registration window is limited — refer to the timelines mentioned on the official microsite.
- Any deviation from the above criteria may result in immediate disqualification of the entire team during the screening stage.

Participants register for Meesho’s first-ever Women-only Hackathon – ScriptedByHer on Hackerearth individually.

Round 1
Online Coding Challenge
After registering on Hackerearth, you will undergo a ‘90 minutes’ online coding challenge which consists of MCQs and Machine Coding test where you will be tested on your basic coding skills. Based on your test scores, you will be shortlisted to proceed to the next stage.
Post test, profiles will be verified for eligibility by the platform.

Round 1.1
QnA Session
A virtual session for the shortlisted participants to connect with Meesho’s leadership team and get guidance for the idea funnel round.

Idea Funnel
Participants must select one of the provided themes and propose a feasible, impactful, and implementable tech solution aligned with it.
Top 50 ideas will be shortlisted, and selected teams will be required to build an MVP based on their proposed solution.

Finalist teams will demo their MVPs and pitch to a panel of Meesho leaders. Top 3 teams will be crowned winner and runner-up. All finalists stand a chance to bag PPOs & monetary prizes worth 2.25Lacs.

RULES:
Theme & Problem Alignment
- A single overarching theme will be provided for the hackathon.
- All submitted ideas and solutions must align with the theme shared during the ideation round.
Project Submission & Development Rules
- Participants must propose original and innovative ideas; copied or pre-existing projects will be disqualified.
- All hacks must be built entirely during the official Remote Hack-Sprint window.
- Submissions must be uploaded on HackerEarth — multiple submissions allowed, but only the latest will be evaluated.
- Use of open-source libraries, public APIs, and tools (e.g., GitHub, Google APIs) is allowed.
Plagiarism & IP Rights
- Plagiarized or previously implemented solutions will lead to disqualification.
- The intellectual property rights of the final submission rest with the respective team.
Participation Agreement
- All participants must comply with HackerEarth’s terms and conditions and code of conduct throughout the hackathon.
Onsite Grand Finale
- The finalists will be invited for the in-person Grand Finale at Meesho HQ, Bengaluru.
- Physical attendance of all team members is mandatory for participating in the Finale.
