Qualifications:-

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Must be authorized to work in India while pursuing education.
Strong academic track record and demonstrated ability to research functional areas in depth.

Skills Required:-

Creative, independent, and self-motivated with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work with diverse groups of engineers.
Ability to present ideas effectively to colleagues and partners.
Familiarity with Unix-based and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of innovative techniques in chip/FPGA design, chiplets, and AI/ML applications in chip design.
Basic understanding of storage systems and FPGA-based architectures (preferred).

Experience:-

College-level exposure to chip/FPGA designs and AI/ML integration.
Practical knowledge or projects in storage domain, computational storage, or related hardware modeling.

Responsibilities:-

Assist Seagate Research Architects/Leads on cutting-edge storage technology projects.
Investigate emerging technologies in efficient data storage, AI/ML, and mobility.
Explore new mechanisms in hardware modeling, prototyping, and computational storage.
Survey and process public/enterprise forums to build models and generate new ideas.
Contribute to developing architecture and proof-of-concept designs with senior engineers.
Research storage components, systems, data creation models, and storage security.
Document current and future storage architectures for different applications.
Provide research intelligence for future Seagate products or reference architectures.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across Seagate’s global sites.
Create internal/external research papers and collaborate with affiliated schools for academic applications.
