Intern for Everyday Pricing Operations
Primary Function
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Senior Analysts and gain hands-on experience in building pricing insights and driving operational excellence to help scale up a strong pricing operations team in Target in India. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and develop valuable skills in continuous improvement, data analysis and reporting.
- Assist the senior analysts in collecting, cleaning, and organizing pricing data from various sources.
- Collaborate closely with the pricing team to develop process flows, charters, and SWOT analysis.
- Partner with analysts to list down process issues, conduct root cause analysis for each, and assist in creating comprehensive evaluations of pricing opportunities.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports to track key pricing metrics and performance indicators.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis and special projects to support pricing analysts as needed.
Requirements
- Student in the final year of a 2 Year Postgraduate program. Preferably MBA in Business Analytics or Lean Operations
- Demonstrates leadership, strong initiative, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
