Job Description
- This opening is for an internship with the thermal architecture team within Altera.
- In this role, you will be exposed to FPGA thermal design, both at the chip level and platform level. As part of the internship program, you will be assist the team members with their projects. To begin with, you will be taught to use some of the inbuilt FPGA temperature generator tools. Post that, you will be expected to support the generation of detailed die temperature maps for specific power scenarios through tools/ simulations. You will also be tasked with performing market research on thermal solutions and boundary conditions used across a variety of industries.
Skills Required:
- ME/ MTech (ongoing) in Thermal and Fluid Systems Coursework on electronics cooling Exposure/ coursework on any common CFD tool (Flotherm/ IcePAK/ Fluent/ ..)
- Programming experience (MatLab/ Python) will be good to have
