Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in IT Service Desk or Technical Support roles.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified are an advantage.
Skills Required:-
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of IT service desk tools and ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, MS Office, and common enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with hardware components, network basics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Customer service orientation with problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
Mandatory Skills:-
- TIS Service Desk experience or equivalent IT service desk exposure.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Act as the primary contact for user IT support and customer service queries.
- Respond to and resolve issues via calls, emails, chats, and ticketing portal.
- Troubleshoot basic issues related to software, hardware, and commonly used IT equipment.
- Log all service desk tickets accurately in the defined tracking system.
- Maintain SLA/TAT targets as per Statement of Work (SoW).
- Escalate unresolved issues according to defined helpdesk procedures.
- Maintain resolution logs and generate regular MIS reports.
- Capture and share customer feedback, suggestions, or escalations with relevant teams.
- Suggest improvements for processes, procedures, and service delivery.
Performance Parameters:-
- Adherence to SLA/TAT.
- Minimal escalations.
- Positive customer experience ratings.
- Accurate and timely documentation.
