Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT Service Desk or Technical Support roles.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified are an advantage.

Skills Required:-

  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of IT service desk tools and ticketing systems.
    • Basic understanding of operating systems, MS Office, and common enterprise applications.
    • Familiarity with hardware components, network basics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Customer service orientation with problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
    • Good documentation and reporting skills.

Mandatory Skills:-

  • TIS Service Desk experience or equivalent IT service desk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Act as the primary contact for user IT support and customer service queries.
  • Respond to and resolve issues via calls, emails, chats, and ticketing portal.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues related to software, hardware, and commonly used IT equipment.
  • Log all service desk tickets accurately in the defined tracking system.
  • Maintain SLA/TAT targets as per Statement of Work (SoW).
  • Escalate unresolved issues according to defined helpdesk procedures.
  • Maintain resolution logs and generate regular MIS reports.
  • Capture and share customer feedback, suggestions, or escalations with relevant teams.
  • Suggest improvements for processes, procedures, and service delivery.

Performance Parameters:-

  • Adherence to SLA/TAT.
  • Minimal escalations.
  • Positive customer experience ratings.
  • Accurate and timely documentation.
