Role Overview:-

As a Technical Data Supplier Analyst Intern, you will work with the Customer Services Fleet Efficiency and Engineering department at Airbus India in Bangalore.

The role focuses on technical data management, supplier coordination, interchangeability configurations, portfolio management, and process improvement. You will help ensure that accurate technical data is available from suppliers at the right time to support aircraft maintenance documentation and customer requirements.

You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives using automation and scripting tools such as Python and Google Apps Script.

This internship provides an opportunity to learn about aircraft systems, technical data management, supplier operations, aviation compliance, and engineering support processes.

Educational Requirements:-

• Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Technical Data Management

• Support the management and maintenance of technical data received from aircraft suppliers.
• Help ensure technical information is accurate, complete, and available when required.
• Review and organize supplier data according to established workflows and internal procedures.
• Assist in tracking data requirements and identifying missing or incomplete information.
• Support the availability of technical data required for aircraft maintenance deliverables.

Interchangeability Configuration Management

• Support Interchangeability (ICY) management activities triggered through internal workflows.
• Assist in reviewing interchangeability-related technical data and configuration information.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to track workflow progress and resolve data-related issues.
• Help maintain accurate records of interchangeability configurations.
• Follow established procedures to support data consistency and technical quality.

Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal technical data teams to obtain required information.
• Follow up on pending supplier data and help ensure timely delivery.
• Track supplier responses and identify delays or discrepancies in submitted information.
• Support communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Help maintain accurate supplier records and data status reports.

Portfolio Management

• Learn to manage complex matrices of supplier data assigned to different portfolios.
• Organize and monitor supplier information according to portfolio requirements.
• Track pending tasks, deadlines, and outstanding data requests.
• Assist in preparing portfolio updates and operational reports.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Help reduce manual intervention and improve data accuracy.
• Contribute ideas for process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Aviation Compliance & Quality

• Follow applicable aviation regulatory requirements and internal quality procedures.
• Develop awareness of EASA and FAA aviation regulations.
• Understand the importance of EN9100 quality management standards in aerospace operations.
• Help maintain the accuracy, traceability, and consistency of technical data.
• Follow company guidelines for technical documentation and data management.
• Escalate discrepancies or quality concerns to the appropriate team members.

Customer Support & Maintenance Deliverables

• Provide support to internal users and customers regarding technical maintenance deliverables.
• Help respond to technical data-related queries and follow up on pending requests.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve missing or inconsistent technical information.
• Track support requests and assist in providing timely updates.
• Contribute to improving customer satisfaction through accurate and reliable technical data.

Team Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with other technical data teams, engineering teams, and suppliers.
• Maintain records of assigned activities, workflow updates, and supplier communications.
• Prepare and update reports related to data availability and process status.
• Communicate issues and progress clearly to the team.
• Learn from the assigned tutor and contribute to departmental objectives.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Must currently be pursuing a B.Tech degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have basic knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Must possess good analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Must understand the fundamentals of at least one programming language.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• Must demonstrate teamwork, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
• Must be interested in technical data management, aviation engineering, supplier coordination, or process automation.
• Must be available for the proposed three-month internship, subject to confirmation by Airbus.
• Must be able to work in Bangalore, as required by the internship arrangement.
