Job Overview:-
- Amazon’s Retail Business Systems (RBS) team is looking for a Business Research Analyst to work at the intersection of machine learning, business analytics, and software engineering.
- In this role, you will collaborate with applied scientists and engineering teams to build scalable ML/LLM solutions that directly impact Amazon’s global retail operations and customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative or STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- 1+ years of experience applying ML, data mining, statistical or deep learning techniques to real-world problems
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Master’s degree with specialization in Machine Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision
- Experience across roles such as Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Engineer, Product Owner, or Project Manager
- Hands-on experience in ML model development, tuning, and deployment
- Exposure to Spark, Scala, R, or Java
- Strong foundation in ML, statistics, and data science concepts
