Role Overview:-
- The Senior Analyst – Forecasting partners with global commercial, finance, marketing, and portfolio teams to develop accurate and strategic forecasts for revenue, volume, and patient demand across key global markets.
- The role plays a critical part in portfolio decision-making, strategic planning, and business case development.
Educational Requirements:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA / Master’s / PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Experience in rare disease portfolio forecasting
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods, AI/ML, automation
- Experience with Power BI / Power Apps
Experience & Skills Required:-
- 7–10 years of pharmaceutical forecasting experience
- Strong expertise in forecasting techniques, financial modeling, and analytics
- Experience in rare disease and specialty therapy areas
- Deep understanding of patient pathways and treatment dynamics
- Expertise using industry datasets: IQVIA, claims data, epidemiology
- Advanced Excel and forecasting model development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:-
- Deliver robust, transparent demand forecasts for strategic brands and therapy areas
- Develop revenue, volume, and patient forecasting models for global and US markets
- Support annual and long-term portfolio planning and prioritization activities
- Lead and influence cross-functional forecasting discussions
- Defend forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and outputs with confidence
- Integrate market research, secondary data, and real-world insights into forecasts
- Conduct scenario analysis, risk assessment, and opportunity evaluation
- Build forecasting dashboards and reporting tools
- Support new product introduction forecasts (short-term and long-term)
- Continuously enhance forecasting methodologies using advanced analytics, simulations, and predictive models
