Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related discipline relevant to compliance and risk management.
Experience Required:-
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts within compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, and regulations related to specific products and services.
- Experience in guiding teams, allocating work, and coordinating resources (for leadership roles).
- Demonstrated capability to develop technical expertise and act as an advisor in the area of compliance (for individual contributor roles).
- Strong understanding of risk management, financial crime, conduct regulations, and compliance principles.
- Knowledge of organizational products, services, and processes within the function.
- Ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual information and precedents.
Skills Required:-
- Strong knowledge of compliance risk management frameworks.
- Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, and regulations related to products and services.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics to monitor and influence compliance risk landscapes.
- Excellent advisory and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities:-
- Guide the business in adhering to the compliance risk management framework.
- Provide advisory services to colleagues on regulations for specific products and services.
- Utilise data and analytics to proactively monitor compliance risks and influence business practices.
- Develop compliance risk insights, including laws, rules, regulations, financial crime, and conduct.
- Deliver compliance training to business stakeholders.
- Perform assigned activities to a high standard and within set timelines, driving continuous improvement.
- Allocate work, coordinate resources, and support professional development (for leadership roles).
- Partner with other business areas and functions to achieve organisational objectives.
- Escalate breaches of policies or procedures appropriately.
- Implement new policies or procedures resulting from risk mitigation strategies.
- Advise and influence decision-making within own area of expertise.
- Take ownership for managing risks and strengthening controls in work areas.
- Ensure delivery of work in compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.
