Role Overview:-
CACTUS is looking for a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer Intern to join its QA team. You will work on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and basic automated testing, collaborating with developers and product teams.
Educational Requirements:-
- B.E / B.Tech (Engineering)
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
Key Skills:-
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing (Manual Testing)
- Knowledge of SDLC / STLC
- Ability to write test cases and test plans
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) – plus
- Basic programming knowledge (Java / Python) – preferred
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and logical thinking
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in teams
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and scripts
- Execute manual and basic automated tests
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects
- Collaborate with developers to understand requirements
- Participate in Agile meetings (stand-ups, sprint reviews)
- Perform regression testing
- Maintain testing documentation and reports
- Support overall QA strategy and quality improvements
