Qualifications
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
- 0–2 years of relevant software development experience, including internships or project experience.
- Good programming fundamentals and proficiency in Java.
- Working knowledge of Java 8+, including:
- Object-oriented programming
- Collections
- Exception handling
- Streams and Lambda expressions
- Multithreading/concurrency fundamentals
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Spring Boot and REST API development.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and common service-to-service communication patterns.
- Hands-on or academic/project experience with AWS services, preferably DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Lambda, or EC2.
- Working knowledge of DynamoDB fundamentals, including partition keys, sort keys, indexes, queries, and capacity concepts.
- Basic understanding of event streaming and messaging concepts, including Kinesis, SQS, or SNS.
- Familiarity with Git and standard software development workflows.
- Exposure to Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts, preferably Jenkins or an equivalent tool.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
