Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with Production Support processes and teams
- Experience working with globally distributed teams to execute daily tasks
- Experience in Cloud applications and Advanced SQL
- Basic knowledge of Cloud, AI, Power BI and Analyzing Data
- Demonstrated success working within a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple projects with minimal direction and supervision
- Demonstrated willingness to participate in on-call rotation and work on Shifts as per business needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and efficiently while ensuring meeting the desired SLAs
- Write the complex SQL scripts for various business needs
- Ability to upskill and drive meaningful projects using AI
- Analyze code, understand its purpose, and modify it to run successfully
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist the team with complex query tuning and code refinement
- Provide support for critical production systems. Willingness to work on Shifts as per business needs
- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members
- Functions may include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration; as well as data modeling, big data development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning and other similar roles
- Responsibilities may include Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems
- Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments
- Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities
- Manages relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand the potential architectural impact of different vendor strategies and data acquisition
- May design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting and helps to support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Basic, structured, standard approach to work
