Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Software Tester with expertise in manual & automated testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and .NET technologies for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like PyTest, NUnit, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
  • Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM).
  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Description & Responsibilities:-

1. Manual Testing:

  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
  • Execute manual tests to identifydefects and ensure software functionality meets specified requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to address and resolve identified defects.

2. Automated Testing:

  • Design, develop, and maintainautomated test scripts using Python and .NET technologies.
  • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

3. Regression Testing:

  • Conduct regression testing to validatenew software releases and updates.
  • Automate regression test suitesto minimizemanual effort and expedite the testing process.

 

4. Defect Management:

  • Report and track defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring timelyresolution.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to validatedefect resolutions.

 

5. Performance Testing:

  • Collaborate with performance engineers to design and execute performance tests.
  • Analyze performance test results and identifyperformance bottlenecks. 
  • Assist in performance tuning and optimization efforts.

6. Test Documentation:

  • Maintain accurateand up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

 

  • Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to stakeholders.
