Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study
  • Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience (can include internship)

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic Cyber and IT security knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
  • Basic knowledge of secure system architecture and infrastructure design and development
  • Basic HPE-UX, Windows and Linux skills
  • Basic knowledge in relevant program/scripting languages
  • Basic understanding of security standards and best practices
  • Basic risk assessment and management skills
  • Basic understanding of networking and network security
  • Basic knowledge of relevant security tools and products
  • Basic understanding of SSL/TLS, HTTPS protocol and other secure network transmission mechanisms
