Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study
- Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience (can include internship)
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic Cyber and IT security knowledge
- Basic understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
- Basic knowledge of secure system architecture and infrastructure design and development
- Basic HPE-UX, Windows and Linux skills
- Basic knowledge in relevant program/scripting languages
- Basic understanding of security standards and best practices
- Basic risk assessment and management skills
- Basic understanding of networking and network security
- Basic knowledge of relevant security tools and products
- Basic understanding of SSL/TLS, HTTPS protocol and other secure network transmission mechanisms
Desired attributes:
- Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer science, Engineering, Cloud or related areas of study
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management abilities
