Qualifications
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in any speciality
- Graduation/Post Graduation
- Experience: 02 – 06 years
- Marks Percentage: >=60%
Role Description & Responsibilities:
1. Crash & Safety:
- Vehicle-level crash testing (Full frontal, offset, side and NCAP)
- Vehicle-related safety testing like seat belt, anchorage, head form, bumper, side impact, etc
- Pedestrian safety test dummies
- Design & Development of Test Requirements
2. Strength & Durability:
- Fatigue Durability testing & Road load data.
- Understand component characteristics and drawing
- Ability to operate UG software
- Equipment calibration & AMC
- Data Analysis using Glyphworks software
- Data acquisition & Bench test execution
3. NVH Testing:
- NVH testing for engines, transmissions and drivelines on bench
- NVH tests to evaluate performance of powertrain
- Knowledge of test bench automation software like- Siemens Test lab, FAMOS, B&K Connect, PUMA, etc
- Anechoic/Semi anechoic chambers for engine, transmissions gears testing
4. Calibration & Validation:
- Powertrain Calibration
- Engine control calibration & validation for spark ignition engines.
- Expertise in – Turbocharger, VVT, EGR, Catalyst, Canister, OBD, AMT, CVT, AT, ISS, ISG, etc.
- Driveability calibration
- Vehicle calibration for function, performance and reliability – EMS, Auto t/m, Hybrid, EV
- Calibration value management
