Qualifications

Qualifications

  • CA (recently qualified) or MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) from a recognized institute.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L drivers, and basic corporate finance concepts.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts; Power Query/Power Pivot preferred).
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint for business presentations.
  • Exposure to ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle/Netsuite/Tally) is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate analysis into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Structured thinking and problem-solving; ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Time management and ability to handle recurring cycles (monthly reporting) alongside ad-hoc requests.
  • High integrity and confidentiality while handling financial and business information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end MIS/management reporting: revenue, cost, gross margin, OPEX, and KPI dashboards.
  • Assist in preparing leadership presentations and finance decks with clear storylines
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Perform variance analysis (budget vs actuals, forecast vs actuals) and provide insights and commentary.
  • Help build and maintain financial models (scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, what-if analysis).
  • Partner with business stakeholders to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and track key initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve reporting templates; automate recurring reports using Excel/Power Query (or similar tools).
  • Ensure data accuracy through reconciliation checks and documentation of definitions/assumptions.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses requested by Finance leadership and business teams.
