Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer.
• B.Tech / Dual Degree with Computer Science as a major discipline or related fields

Skills:

• Good understanding of Linux fundamentals, system commands, and shell environments.
• Hands-on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes basics—deployments, pods, logs, troubleshooting common issues.
• Good scripting ability in Bash or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Good understanding of networking basics.
• Strong willingness to learn, good communication and collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer I plays a key role in the setup, maintenance, and smooth functioning of system environments and development pipelines.
• The role focuses on deployments, improving operational workflows, and strengthening reliability practices across environments.
• Key responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to automation through scripting and infrastructure configuration.
• Handle monitoring and observability tasks, participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, and manage deployments, environment setup, access requests, and configuration updates.
