Qualifications
Educational and Experience:
- 2+ years in the software industry with experience in software quality test automation
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with front-end and back-end applications
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or similar technical education preferred
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, automation testing, databases, networking, web services and UI applications
- Knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines
- Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking tools
- Strong knowledge of Web APIs and related technologies.
- Experience writing automated tests such as Unit Tests, Integration Tests, Selenium, etc.
Required Skills:-
- Strong knowledge of C# or other object-oriented languages
- Strong knowledge or software architecture including SOLID, design patterns and design principles
- Strong knowledge of system architecture (such as microservices, containers, multi process applications and APIs)
- Ability to research problems and develop solutions in a complex environment
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supports development and execution of automated and manual test cases
- Ability to design, create, maintain and document test plans, test cases and test reports
- Work with senior test engineers to develop estimates and report them to management
- Expanding, improving and innovating on the existing automation framework
- Reviews test reports and investigates and summarizes results for other stakeholders
- Responsible for participating in team processes including code reviews, planning, standups, etc.
- Continuously expanding and researching strategies for optimizing application test coverage
- Completes all job responsibilities and other duties as assigned
- Strong written and verbal communication especially with regards to technical concepts
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
