Role Overview:-
As an Intern – CI&A Data Analyst, you will support the Customer Insights & Analytics team by working with commercial datasets, analytical tools, reporting platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze business performance, develop dashboards, identify trends, and convert complex data into meaningful insights. The role involves working with SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, and Generative AI tools to improve analytical efficiency and reporting processes.
You will also help automate routine reporting activities, support business presentations, and provide analytical recommendations to brand and commercial teams.
Educational Requirements:-
Candidates should have a degree in a quantitative discipline from a Tier-I institute, as specified in the job description.

Roles & Responsibilities:-
1. Data Management & Governance
- Develop an understanding of commercial data sources used by the Customer Insights & Analytics team.
- Access and work with governed datasets through the Gold Layer and semantic-layer assets in Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Query approved metric views to retrieve accurate and consistent business data.
- Support data preparation, validation, and analysis for different commercial use cases.
- Follow established data governance practices and maintain consistency in analytical outputs.
2. SQL, Python & Databricks Analytics
- Use SQL to query commercial datasets and extract relevant business information.
- Work with Python in Databricks notebooks to support data analysis and reporting.
- Analyze structured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Support repeatable and governed analytics using standardized metric views.
- Assist in improving analytical workflows and reducing manual data-processing activities.
3. Power BI Dashboard Development
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Monitor brand performance and commercial business metrics.
- Support the development of market monitoring dashboards and product launch trackers.
- Prepare reports for Key Account Management (KAM) and institutional analytics.
- Present analytical results through clear visualizations and business-friendly reports.
- Help ensure dashboards provide accurate, timely, and actionable information.
4. Customer Insights & Commercial Analytics
- Support patient journey analysis to understand patterns across different stages of the patient experience.
- Assist with customer segmentation and targeting analysis.
- Analyze channel spending and commercial engagement performance.
- Support patient persistency analysis and related business reporting.
- Identify trends and patterns in commercial data to support business planning.
- Translate analytical findings into insights and recommendations for brand and commercial teams.
5. Generative AI & Reporting Automation
- Use Generative AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to accelerate analytical tasks.
- Prepare initial drafts of insight summaries and business reports using AI-assisted workflows.
- Explore agentic approaches to automate routine reporting activities.
- Support data summarization and improve the efficiency of recurring analytical processes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention in reporting and analysis.
- Review AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, relevance, and consistency before sharing them with stakeholders.
6. Business Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare analytical reports for brand performance and commercial business reviews.
- Support market monitoring, launch tracking, and other recurring reporting requirements.
- Organize data and findings into structured presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Track key business metrics and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders.
- Help deliver accurate analytical outputs within agreed timelines.
7. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate with US Customer Insights & Analytics and other internal business partners.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand analytical requirements.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations effectively.
- Support the translation of analytical results into actionable business decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an international and matrix-based environment.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve reports, dashboards, and analytical deliverables.
8. Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality and analytical workflows.
- Support automation initiatives for repetitive reporting tasks.
- Help standardize analytical outputs using governed datasets and reusable metrics.
