About Job Role:-
- The Data Engineer will be part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team responsible for identifying analytical needs, exploring new technologies, and applying data science and machine learning concepts to maximize the value of data assets.
- The role involves working closely with IT and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that drive sound business decisions.
Education & Experience:-
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related fields.
Required Skills:-
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two domains: Sales, Marketing, Install Base, Finance, or Customer Support.
- Demonstrated success in completing multiple, complex technical projects.
- Hands-on experience in SQL, XML, SSL, RESTful APIs, and related standards.
- Experience in data modelling within Enterprise Data Warehouse/DataMart environments.
- Expertise in ETL tools (e.g., IICS) and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle Data Warehouse).
- Track record of building, optimizing, and evaluating scalable data pipelines for production.
- Working knowledge of BI/reporting tools such as Power BI (DAX, security, model creation) and Tableau.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and deployments across on-premise and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:-
- Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.
- Exposure to API integrations and automation of data workflows.
- Strong ability to partner with business leaders and translate data into business-ready insights.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Organize, lead, and facilitate multiple teams on complex, cross-functional enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new integrations to support increasing data demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and build metrics to measure performance.
- Partner with business teams to analyze small and large datasets, proactively identifying and resolving data issues.
- Explore enterprise data to discover patterns, relationships, anomalies, and trends that generate actionable insights.
- Design and implement data models for Enterprise Data Warehouse and DataMarts.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance across deployments.
