Job Description and skills:
We are looking for a QA Intern to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The intern will primarily assist with manual testing of our software products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. If you have experience or interest in automation testing, that would be a great bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work closely with the development team to understand features and requirements and assist in ensuring that the applications are working as expected.
- Document and report bugs and issues in a detailed and clear manner.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contributing feedback on testing progress and issues.
- Contribute to automation efforts (if applicable) by creating or enhancing automation scripts using tools like Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Requirements and Skills:
- Good understanding of QA methodologies/concepts and project management.
- Must have completed a software testing course.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good in data-verification/validation skills.
- Basic knowledge in UNIX and SQL.
- Should be confident and have good communication skills.
- Knowledge of tools like test management tools and bug tracking tools will be a plus.
- Knowledge of JAVA and Selenium WebDriver will be a plus.
- Knowledge of different types of testing performed on web apps and websites will be a plus.
