Job Role 1 : Data Associate

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a data quality, data analysis, or data management role.
• Good understanding of Financial and Market data
• General understanding of data and data flows
• Ability to work effectively within a large, global team.
• Ability to deliver & prioritize tasks on time.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Data cataloguing.
• Good understanding of AI technologies and their potential applications in data management
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, SQL and any visualization tool.
• Problem solving capabilities
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate where concerns are not resolved
• Ability to hold others accountable for delivery of key actions

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Engages with stakeholders to define requirements and usage needs for the measurement of data quality for a specific region or part of a business.
• Undertakes ownership for the on-going delivery of data quality measurement activities with a concentrated focus on a specific region or part of a business
• On identification of data quality issues, performs analysis and escalates for next level review to remediate the issue and achieve high quality data.
• Performs testing of defined use cases on new technology and deliver results on data tasks performed; identifies sources or errors.
• Performs basic root cause analysis on smaller self-contained data analysis tasks that may be related to assigned projects or other unfamiliar projects.
• Delivers testing of defined use cases as part of data audits on new data vendors.
• Delivers data quality processes to assure S&P Ratings compliance against regulatory requirements.
• Performs data queries to identify and drive correction of data inconsistencies.

Job Role 2 : Data Scientist – ML Engineer

Locations: 

• Hyderabad, Telangana, India
• Virtual, Gurgaon, India

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Basic Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related disciplines 
• Overall 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years of work on end-to-end analytical modelling projects: problem scoping, data gathering, modelling, insights, visualizations, monitoring and maintenance 
• Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with various technology partners, stakeholders and other internal/ external users 
• Strong experience with data automation and Machine Learning 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience using SQL, complex Excel, Pyspark and Python. 

Preferred Requirements:  

• Master’s degree, preferably in economics, engineering, or similar field. 
• Good experience working as an analyst in the commodity space is preferred 
• Experience building high quality solutions and leading processes in an Agile development environment 
• Experience building data science solutions in Databricks.

Responsibilities:

• Create commodity models, using predictive modelling and other statistical and econometric techniques. 
• Understand, implement, manage and maintain analytical solutions & techniques independently. 
• Collaborate and coordinate with data, content and product management teams and provide analytical assistance for various commodity datasets 
• Execute with discipline and deliver appropriate documentation 
• Work closely with various stakeholders to collect, clean, model and visualize datasets. 
• Extract hidden value insights and enrich accuracy of the datasets. 
• Leverage technology and automate workflows creating modernized operational processes aligning with the team strategy.
