0–3 years of work experience
Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting)
Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments
System administration experience (personal or professional)
Understanding of manual and automated testing best practices
Strong desire to automate, monitor, and continually improve processes

Preferred:

Experience with databases: SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB
Knowledge of Configuration Management
Familiarity with test automation frameworks
Capability to maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX servers
Experience in server virtualization (VMWare, vSphere)
General networking knowledge (Layer 2 & 3 switches, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.)
Experience with version control systems (CVS, Subversion, Git)

Key Responsibilities:-

Design, build, execute, and maintain test automation for backend, UI, and API
Create automated test scripts for non-functional system verification
Work within CI/CD pipelines to configure and patch multiple test environments
Perform requirements analysis, create test strategies and cases, and report defects
Manually execute complex functional and non-functional tests
Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams for problem-solving and status updates

In this role, you will design and execute robust testing strategies, develop low-maintenance and portable test automation scripts, and ensure AspenTech products meet established requirements and quality standards. You’ll work in close collaboration with R&D and Product Management teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
