About the Role:-
- Barclays is seeking a highly motivated CDO – Data Analyst to support the successful delivery of Location Strategy and Data Governance initiatives.
- This role plays a key part in enabling effective data governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the bank, acting as a bridge between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function.
Qualifications:-
Any Graduate / Postgraduate, including:
- B.E / B.Tech – CSE, IT, Data Science
- B.Sc – Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics
- BCA
- M.Sc – Data Science, Computer Science
- MCA
- MBA – IT, Business Analytics, Operations, Finance
Required Skills:-
- Experience in Data & Records Governance
- Strong background in Change Delivery & Project Management
- Technical expertise in SQL, Python or Lead Development
- Understanding of risk, controls, compliance & regulatory frameworks
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Agile methodology experience
- Stakeholder management
- Digital & technology transformation knowledge
Key Responsibilities:-
- Support delivery of Location Strategy projects in line with agreed scope, quality, budget and governance standards.
- Partner with business units to implement Data & Records Governance frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance on data classification, retention, storage, retrieval and disposal.
- Monitor local data quality and records metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement opportunities for data optimisation and improvement.
- Embed data governance decisions into BAU operations and change programmes.
- Act as a liaison between business and the Data & Records Management (DRM) teams.
- Ensure strong risk management and control environment within data processes.

- Lead, supervise, guide and develop team members (where applicable)
