Required Qualifications:-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Engineering
- Economics (with strong quantitative background)
- Or a related discipline.
Skills Required:-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and bring clarity to complex, ambiguous problems.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Exposure to machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong interpersonal relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights effectively.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Collaborate with business areas within Asset Management to identify and analyse opportunities for performance improvement using data science and analytics.
- Assist in designing and implementing data engineering pipelines for efficient data retrieval and transformation.
- Develop data visualisations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Support the creation and testing of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning models (e.g., operational risk classification, sentiment analysis of meeting notes).
- Apply analytical techniques, tools, and technologies under the mentorship of experienced data scientists.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure tasks are prioritised according to business needs.
