The role is based within Finance function of Northern Operating Services Private Limited.
📌Roles & Responsibilities
The role incumbent will undergo on the job training in areas of accounting by handling day to day accounting of a business unit which includes, accounting for salary, monthly accrual of expenses, bank reconciliation, pre-paid expense write-off, review of monthly financials, variance analysis, preparing schedules forming part of financial statement amongst other functions.
Below are the details:
- Support in posting daily accounting entries along with proper attachments.
- Support in Bank Reconciliations and banking related activities such as addition/ deletion of signatories etc.
- Help in month end procedures e.g. Accruals, Prepaid expenses, Depreciation, Salary, Leases, Dilapidation accounting etc.
- Help in accounting of monthly and quarterly statutory tax payments.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and prepare documentation for inwards and outward remittance.
- Identify issues in process and provide recommendations for process improvement
- Assist in preparing various schedules required for statutory audit requirements
- Assist in miscellaneous. administrative activities, as and when required.
✔What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of CA Inter in addition to Graduate Degree.
- Should have 12 months of training left.
Skills:
- Reasonable hands-on experience in MS Excel.
- Prior exposure to statutory audit of large corporate clients would be preferred.
