Qualifications
- B. Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent degree preferred.
- Experience in leading projects (local or global), stakeholder management, working with competing priorities
- Experience with any programming languages, preferably python
- Knowledge of SQL and performance tuning. Experience with Snowflake is must.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technologies
- Experience with team handling
Roles & Responsibilities:-
BlackRock is looking for a passionate Data Engineer Associate who enjoys engineering and optimizing data sets, building robust data pipelines, and contributing to the architecture of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with big data technologies, and a knack for solving complex data challenges.
- Create efficient data pipelines for data processing, transformation, and storage.
- Develop and maintain data schemas that align with business requirements to ensure data consistency and efficient querying enabling reuse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Implement best practices for cloud-based data storage, security, and scalability.
- Generate ideas for designing and building data engineering solutions using standard frameworks.
- Ability to design and build ETL solutions which are performant, consistent, and scalable.
- Test and enable data migration from legacy data warehouse to cloud.
