What We’re Looking For
Must‑Have
- Software Development Fundamentals – Solid, working proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Python
- 3–5 years of professional experience writing and shipping production code – Ability to implement clearly defined features and bug fixes independently with minimal guidance
- Engineering Quality Strong foundation in: – Data structures, algorithms, and basic problem‑solving
- Writing clean, readable, and testable code – Unit and integration testing Developing habits around:
- Code reviews (giving and receiving feedback constructively)
- Documentation and maintainability
- Following team conventions and style guides
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) or containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, gRPC, or similar backend communication patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps workflows
- Some exposure to observability tooling (logs, metrics, traces)
- Prior internship or co‑op experience on a backend or platform team
