Qualifications
Required Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, data engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong foundational knowledge of storage technologies, such as block storage, object storage (S3‑compatible systems), NFS, or distributed file systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX/Windows administration, including system monitoring, resource management, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with VMWARE environment, Vcenter/ESXi management, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to compute platforms, including virtual machines, containers, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes basics).
- Basic experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially storage, networking, and compute services.
- Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate infrastructure tasks.
- Understanding of monitoring and observability concepts (metrics, logs, alerts) and experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or cloud‑native monitoring.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a willingness to learn complex distributed systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework, internship, or project experience in infrastructure engineering, storage systems, or cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Operations: Support the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data infrastructure components across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Storage & Compute Management: Work with distributed storage systems, object stores, block storage, file storage and compute clusters to ensure performance and reliability.
- Networking Support: Help diagnose connectivity issues, validate network paths, and ensure reliable communication between distributed systems.
- Data Quality & Validation: Implement checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
- Integration Support: Validate and maintain integrations with third‑party data platforms, APIs, and vendor‑provided data services.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and small tools to automate routine infrastructure tasks.
