Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
- Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- May have experience in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Good communication skills.
- Good teamwork skills.
What you’ll do:
- Provides moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met.
- Develops a deeper understanding of the company’s financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.
- Preparation of IndAS financial statements ( B/S, P&L, Notes to accounts including cash flows) ; Support for Internal audits & ICOFR.
- Preparation of Tax audits and Lead for support for country GST accounting related compliances
Skills Required
- USGAAP MEC support including financial analysis of Trial balances for material flux, variance analysis
- Establishes and maintains relationships with various stakeholders – Tax team, CFA team, Legal and business finance analysts to support decision-making.
- Supports USGAAP tax provision preparations and related submissions.
- Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
- Represents finance on cross- functional teams.
