Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Hands on experience in Agile projects.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC ang bug life cycle.
- Should have hands on experience in Selenium.
- Should have knowledge on Python or any other similar scripting language.
- Experience in BDD framework and understands the component of the framework.
- Hands on experience on Git. Should have knowledge on git workflows.
- Hands on experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo etc.,
- Exhibits strong analytical and problems solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication etiquette. Able to communicate with people at all levels.
- Understanding of the UniVerse programming language and database is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests.
- Execute automation test scripts and create/manage Defects in defect tracking tools.
- Closely follow up with the automation issues /defects reported until it gets resolved and perform regression testing.
- Update test execution status following agreed-upon processes as part of regularly scheduled test status updates.
- Understand the mouser scripting standards and perform peer review the automation test scripts.
- Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
- Provide technical guidance to junior-level test engineers and/or test technicians assigned to assist the Test Automation Engineer
- Plan and implement automation test scripts as part of the deployment pipeline.
- Ensure proper version control of all test objects developed.
- Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
- Ability to provide the accurate and precise estimates for assigned task.
- Ability to assist in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules.
