About the Role:
- The API Platform team is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our mission of developing a comprehensive platform to manage the Software Development Lifecycle of APIs at PayPal. In this role, you will work with modern technologies across the full stack, contributing to tools and services that empower API development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Build and maintain scalable APIs and services using Java, alongside crafting responsive user interfaces with React.
- Product Impact: Collaborate with Sr Engineers and product to deliver, secure, and user-friendly API Platform.
- SDLC & Quality: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code reviews, writing unit tests, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Self-Starter: As this role is in India, and a majority of the team is located in the US, you must be able to work independently during much of your day, but communicate with the US team during the US mornings/India evening time.
