Qualifications
Education:
- Candidates pursuing or has completed MS/MSc/MTech/PhD level degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Data Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Applications or other closely related technical discipline, will be considered for the internship program.
Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge and relevant programming experience with Python, PyTorch, and other ML and DL libraries, mainly for Computer Vision tasks.
- Prior experience on applying advanced generative models to anime video generation, content regeneration, video analysis-based problems.
- Knowledge on efficient large vision models or multi-modal approaches for various computer vision tasks.
- Knowledge on generative AI models using advanced Transformer, GANs and Diffusion models.
Good to have Skills:
- Demonstrated research capabilities through relevant publication record in top-tier conferences like CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, AAAI, NeurIPS, WACV, BMVC.
Job Purpose & Interbship Details:
Internships at Sony Research India (SRI) are aimed at offering students with an opportunity to industry exposure and a production level project experience. The primary responsibility in this role will be to positively contribute to the growth and development of innovative technologies at SRI. During the internship, you will work closely with research scientists and other members in the team on various development and optimization tasks in object detection, tracking and recognition, large vision models, video generation, content moderation, etc.
- In addition, you’ll be expected to actively work on AI development activities daily, be it training, testing, fixing bugs or other routines for building a robust model.
- For this internship program, we are seeking a talented and motivated candidate who is pursuing or has completed MS/MSc/MTech/PhD level degree, to join us as soon as possible, for a duration of at least 6 months.
- For this internship program, we’re only going to consider candidates who have demonstrable skills and knowledge in generative AI based computer vision tasks such as anime generation, video-to-video generation, content regeneration-based vision problems with strong coding skill in PyTorch and Python.
Duration of the paid internship:
- The paid internship will be for 6 months starting first week of December 2024.
- The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 18:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday).
