Job Role 1 : Security Operations Engineering

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
• Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship

Preferred Qualifications: Basic Cyber security certifications with Python and other programming languages.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems’ security and determine next steps, including potential escalations.
• Develop and implement automation of security processes and procedures where possible and translate security policy into effective controls.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct threat intelligence and analysis, and use data analytics to drive security decisions.
• Conduct and support red/purple team operations or improve security posture.
• Maintain hardware, software, network firewalls, and encryption protocols, and they administer security policies to control access to systems.

Job Role 2: Research Fellowship

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

Required qualifications:

• Either a current student finishing up an undergraduate or master’s degree in the next month or recent graduate in 2022.
• Strong programming skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• A keen interest in both research and engineering    
• Background in programming languages/compilers or machine learning/AI

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Hiring Research Fellows for one-year appointments, extensible for another year with potential to develop into a full-time research track appointment.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) of implementing code level patterns that allow large codebases & teams to scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to be adaptable and agile in development.  
• Experience driving efforts across product groups and business units. 
• Exposure to networking and streaming protocols such as HTTPS, TCP/IP, DASH/HLS. 
• Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences.
