Position Summary:-

The Loan Setup Reviewer (LSU Reviewer) is responsible for reviewing closed loan files to ensure they meet all approval requirements, comply with federal, state, local, and investor guidelines, and that the data in the Loan Origination System (LOS) matches the mortgage loan documents received from correspondent lenders.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required

Skills & Competencies:-

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong comprehension skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Familiarity with mortgage loan processes and guidelines is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:-

Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy using the LSU checklist.
Review all loan types, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA.
Enter and/or update delivery data in the LOS.
Add suspense conditions in a clear and concise manner for any deficiencies.
Ensure compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines (general knowledge preferred).
Work under strict timelines and provide review responses within prescribed timeframes.
Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Exhibit flexibility to work night shifts or adjust shifts on short notice.
Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Adapt quickly to changes and ensure updates are implemented promptly.
Experience in a production environment is preferred.
