Job Overview:-
- The Data Analyst role contributes to technology solutions that support high-performance, cloud-based applications used by major financial institutions worldwide.
- The position focuses on driving insights through data analysis, dashboard development, and scalable data models within a fast-paced and innovative environment that promotes learning and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:-
- 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.
- Strong SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience in dashboard development; proficiency in Looker is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Preferred Skills & Technologies:-
- Experience with DBT for data modelling.
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Knowledge of Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
- Basic proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy).
- Experience using Git for version control.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Deep-Dive Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct comprehensive, deep-dive analyses into complex datasets within BigQuery to identify key trends, opportunities, and business challenges.
- Partner with stakeholders to define, track, and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- End-to-End Dashboard Development:
- Design, develop, and own the end-to-end creation of insightful and user-centric dashboards exclusively in Looker.
- Optimize and maintain our LookML models to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability as business needs evolve.
- Data Modelling & Transformation:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-documented data models using DBT.
- Build and refine data transformation logic within our BigQuery warehouse to prepare data for analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers on data pipeline integrity and enhancements, (pipelines managed via Airflow), to ensure reliable data ingestion.
- Collaboration & Storytelling:
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and proactively deliver data-driven solutions.
