As an associate, the day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Technical work is likely to focus on non-experimental methods.
  • Project and client management: Driving the day-to-day execution of the project work according to project plans and leading internal coordination efforts for the team.

You also will not specialize in a single area. We are looking for generalists who can contribute across a range of initiatives. While you will develop strong analytical judgment through repeated exposure to high-quality work, you should not expect to become “the expert” in one narrow domain.

Skills Required

The strongest candidates will be self-starters and strong generalists, comfortable going both deep and wide. You will work on ambiguous, open-ended questions and translate them into decision-relevant insights, while also executing well-defined research tasks through structured desk research.

The role involves collecting and refining impact estimates, updating past analyses, and, at times, building new impact or cost-effectiveness models from scratch. You will also provide occasional project management support to teammates and explore how AI tools can improve the efficiency, rigor, and quality of the team’s work.
