Role Overview:-
- The Data Analyst – ADAS role focuses on supporting development, validation, and enhancement of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems through automotive data analysis.
- The role involves working with high-volume vehicle datasets, sensor performance logs, and algorithm outputs to deliver actionable insights that strengthen vehicle safety features and engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Skills Required:-
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Plotly) and Jupyter environment.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Understanding of ADAS features including ACC, AEB, LKA/LDW, BSD, CTA, Park Assist, TJA, Highway Assist, etc.
- Basic knowledge of CAN, LIN, automotive logs (MDF, ROS bags, ARXML) and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with vehicle dynamics and introductory sensor fusion concepts.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:-
- Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer), dSPACE, OxTS, or Mobileye logs.
- Awareness of automotive safety standards — ISO 26262, SOTIF.
- Understanding of AI/ML implementation in automotive systems.
- Experience supporting ADAS testing — simulation or proving grounds exposure.
Soft Skills:-
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability.
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for precision and data-driven outcomes.
- Ability to simplify complex technical insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Analyze ADAS sensor data (camera, radar, lidar, ultrasonic), ECU logs, and vehicle dynamics signals to detect performance trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering and calibration teams to interpret ADAS algorithm behavior and KPI requirements.
- Support model validation through scenario-based performance evaluations and statistical reporting.
- Develop dashboards, data visualizations, and automated reporting solutions for engineering stakeholders.
- Transform, clean, and preprocess large datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tooling.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for ADAS performance deviations, including false/missed detections and intervention events.
- Assist in scenario extraction, annotation reviews, and dataset quality assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ADAS performance across diverse environments and driving conditions.
- Present technical findings in structured documentation and reports.
