Profile Overview:-

Seeking a skilled Data Engineer – Associate to join the Finance Technology (FRPPE Tech) team. The role involves working on a front-to-back initiative to modernize and re-platform major enterprise data systems using Teradata and Snowflake. Responsibilities include handling large-scale data processing, designing data models, and building optimized data pipelines to support analytics and reporting.

Qualification:-

B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, B.Sc/M.Sc, BCA/MCA in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related technical fields (or equivalent).

Required Skills & Experience:-

4+ years in Database / SQL / ETL / Data Modeling.
Strong expertise in DevOps and Automation SDLC tools — CI/CD, Jenkins.
Python (or similar programming language) — entry level acceptable.
Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux.
Experience in Finance industry (preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.

Role Responsibilities:-

Work closely with the development team across the full SDLC.
Perform data modeling and ETL development using SQL, internal ETL tools, and/or Python.
Conduct business and data analysis using Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) based on Teradata.
Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL components for multiple applications.
Optimize performance and scalability for large-scale deployments.
Define and document new features with product management collaboration.
Ensure high-quality deliverables through unit testing and documentation.
Work effectively in Agile environments.
